I have taught in mainstream secondary schools, pupil referral units, independent schools including Charterhouse School, and specialist alternative provision settings delivering 1:1 GCSE tuition. I hold a degree in English and am confident teaching across all subjects and key stages. I specialise in English, maths, science, PE and history. My approach is fully adaptable — meeting each student where they are academically, emotionally, and socially. Martin has played at Step 3 semi-professional football which has developed discipline, resilience and a commitment to high performance, which underpin the tutoring and mentoring approach. Sport is also used in teaching where appropriate as an effective tool for regulating and re-engaging students.
